Fr Cupit retired on Sunday 13th September 2009 and his replacement is Fr Bernard McDermott.

It has taken a long time to prepare Fr Cupit's new home but he will be moving on Tuesday 27th October which will enable the Presbytery to be prepared for Fr McDermott. Fr Cupit's new address is 85 Oakland Avenue, Offerton SK2 5RD and his 'phone number is 0161 456 9497.

The Parish Hotpot evening to say farewell to F Cupit and welcome to Fr McDermott will be in the church on Friday 13th November beginning at 7.30pm Tickets are essential and can be obtained from Peter Smith on 427 4494.

Thank You

The church has recently been repainted both inside and out by people on the Community Payback scheme overseen by the Probation Service.

Our thanks to all involved who have done a great job for us.

Friday Group

A Friday Group has commenced in the Parish on Friday mornings. It meets in the Porch between 10am and Noon and seeks to bring people together socially but also encourage various skills. As well as chat and a cuppa the group is at present making Christmas cards to swell the Parish coffers!

You don't have to be "arty" through to come along and enjoy a bit of company. Everyone is welcome. Why not give us a try?

We have recently replaced our electric piano with a Yamaha Clavinova which is really adding to our worship.
